Change4Life’s new Our Healthy Year Calendars for Reception and KS1, and KS2 can support young people to build healthier habits this year.
The flexible, downloadable calendars can be used via remote learning to inspire children to eat well, move more, and be mindful of their wellbeing.
The calendars are interactive and link to the PSHE and Relationships and Health Education curricula. They include fun facts, jokes and challenges to encourage healthy activity in 2021.

Purple Mash
Purple Mash contains thousands of opportunities for learning.
You’ll find these in the forms of:
- Open ended tools: Here children can engage with publishing, story creation, game design, concept mapping, collaborative writing tool and art, to name a few.
- Spelling and Grammar: Grammar games can be accessed in the ‘Games’ area.
- Maths: From spreadsheets to graphing and from times table games to competitive maths racing games, you’ll find a whole host of maths based tools and resources.

On this website you will find a variety of videos or quizzes aimed at introducing numbers for Early years and KS1.
Dig1t Games
Dig1t Games is a company that has grown out of a desire to enthuse children about Mathematics. They centre their resources on game-playing to take advantage of children’s natural affinity for play, and believe that providing children with an opportunity to play games face-to-face, helps to build their confidence with numbers and master the concepts they are taught in class.
My Mini Maths
The “My Mini Maths” website has a range of home learning maths activities which can be accessed for free without signing up. These activities are group into year groups from year 3 to year 6.
Third Space Learning
Third Space Learning has been teaching children maths online for over 6 years. As part of their provision for primary schools they have an online Maths Hub of thousands of KS1 and KS2 maths resources, many of them linked to the White Rose Maths scheme. Their teachers have been busy compiling categories of those most suitable for distance learning.

Oxford Owl have created a home learning website which has been filled with free eBooks for children aged 3-11.

Scholastics is offering free activities every day which includes four separate learning experiences, each built around a thrilling, meaningful story or video.
World eBook
World Book online have made their collection of over 3000 eBooks and audio books available for free to access online.
Teach Handwriting
This website has a range of resources to support children with their cursive handwriting.
Typing Club
This website offers free games to help children learn how to type more accurately and quicker. There are over 100 levels for the children to work through.
Circle Time Fun
This website allows you to watch on demand activities for children to participate in from interactive story time to family cooking. Sign up is currently free for parents.

This YouTube channel has a range of yoga and mindfulness videos designed for children aged 3+
Go Noodle
This website and YouTube channel offer hundreds of “Brainercise” activities including dancing, strength and mindfulness.
Scratch
This website is computing based and concentrates on coding. Scratch has a range of “ideas” and tutorials which can all be accessed for free. Children can follow these step by step and play along with the coding games.
